CareSource plays host to career, health and financial fair

INDIANAPOLIS - Nonprofit health plan, CareSource, has scheduled a career, health and financial fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Edna Martin Christion Center, 2605 E. 25th St. Indianapolis.

CareSource is joining with the Indiana Minority Health Coalition and Fifth Third Bank to offer a holistic wellness event to connect people with job opportunities, health screenings, wellness tips, financial empowerment tools and other community resources.

CareSource's JobConnect program offers the opportunity to meet with employers including:

• Golden Heart Health Services

• Hampton Inn and Suites

• Walgreens

• UPS

• St. Vincent Health

• Indiana Black Expo

• CareSource

Indiana Minority Health Coalition has recruited many of the top health and wellness service providers in the region to provide information and wellness screenings

• March of Dimes

• American Heart Association

• Eskenazi Health

• Latino Health Organization

• The Martin Center

• Black Nurses Association

• Indiana Minority Health Coalition/CYL2

The Fifth Third Empowerment Bus will also be onsite offering information about financial tools and resources including:

• Assistance with requesting your credit report

• Financial education

• Fraud awareness and prevention

• Home ownership seminars

• Avoiding foreclosure
