'Home for the Holidays' tour features five homes
The Noblesville Preservation Alliance is sponsoring "Home for the Holidays," a tour of five historic Noblesville homes, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 9.
Visitors will gain exclusive access to five of Old Town's historic homes dressed up for the holiday season and brimming with holiday cheer.
Collect a guide at your first stop and tour the homes at your leisure, enjoying themed décor, heavy hors d'oeuvres (while supplies last), and sounds of the season.
The featured homes are:
The Hebel Home, 1194 Cherry St., A German Christmas: We'll wish you "Fröhliche Weihnachten!" as you tour this beautiful Vernacular Victorian home. Munch on German Christmas classics while you see how many Santas you can spot.
The Parker Home, 1374 Maple Ave., A Proper British Christmas: Enjoy tea time with sandwiches, scones, and sweets as you tour this Queen Anne-style cottage with classical décor and a formal dining room fit for a queen.
The McClain Home, 1293 Logan St., A Holly Jolly Christmas: Have yourself a holly jolly time as you tour this Gabled Queen Anne style home filled to the brim with brightly colored decorations. Enjoy a cup of cheer and Sadie's famous cupcakes-and watch out for the mistletoe.
The Dillon Home, 1408 Logan St., A Very Southern Christmas: Enjoy a little Southern hospitality as you're welcomed into this Vernacular Victorian home. The homeowners invite you to indulge in some comfort food while you stroll around their many Christmas trees and boogie to the sounds of the season on vinyl.
The Jourdan Home, 147 South 10th St., An Old-Fashioned Christmas: Beautiful antiques and Christmas décor overflow in this lovely foursquare home. If you're looking for a real taste of the past, this late addition to our tour is going to be one of your favorite stops.
