Cameron Craig returns home to Noblesville on Saturday to sign his new book and give a recital of his favorite pieces.

American spirituals, some Italian art songs and sacred songs will be performed with pianist, Ethan Hayward, during a concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at the First Presbyterian Church, 1207 Conner St., Noblesville. The book signing is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next door to the church, at Adriene's Flowers & Gifts, 1249 E. Conner St. He is a 1989 Noblesville High School graduate and the son of Stephen and Moffett Craig, who own the flower shop.

While Craig will delight his audience in a few Christmas selections, the highlight of Craig's recital will be a poem he wrote in October that he set to music, "Our Love will Prevail." The poem is very intimate and presents the struggle to find love and keep it although many others fail to understand that unique love.

Craig has also invited his friend and colleague, Albert Maizel, to perform solo piano pieces from Chopin and also mesmerize listeners with the first movement of Rachmaninoff's 2 nd Piano Concerto. Maizel, a Russian from Israel, is studying piano performance at Eastern Illinois University and recently was one of two concerto winners that will perform the concerto with the Eastern Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Richard Robert Rossi, next spring.
