The Bard is back
Historian David Heighway seems to get a little giddy when he talks about Shakespeare in the Park.

The 55-year-old Noblesville resident has been involved with the Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission's open-air production since its beginning in 1993.

This season, Heighway was written a one-act play that is being performed just before William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," during shows tonight and again Thursday through Aug. 1 at Seminary Park in Noblesville. Admission is free. Picnicking is invited.

Heighway's pre-show, which begins at 7:30 p.m. and runs about 20 minutes, is called "What You Will," the actual subtitle to "Twelfth Night."

This year, "The Emperor's New Clothes," in two acts, features 25 actors ages 5 to 13. The show opens tonight at The Belfry Theatre. The show continues next weekend, with four shows. Tickets are still available for all.
