ARCADIA - Hamilton Heights High School Homecoming is scheduled for Friday.

The days leading up to Homecoming will be filled with a variety of fun and spirit-filled activities to rally the Dawgs prior to the big game at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 29 on the Husky Field against the Twin Lakes Indians.

Monday through Friday will be designated as "spirit" days for which students and staff can participate.

Monday is dress like a tacky tourist, wear your favorite rain gear on Tuesday, Wednesday is Powder Puff day, it's all gray for grout fit Thursday, and Friday by color by class day: staff, orange and white, seniors, black, juniors, orange, sophomores, white, and freshmen, gray.

All grades will vie for the prize at the annual Power Puff football game on Wednesday. The game starts at 7 p.m. and will take place at the high school football field. Admission is free. The concession stand will be open.

On Thursday, the Talent Show, sponsored by the sophomore class, begins at 2:05 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The cost for students to attend is $1.

Friday's activities begin bright and early at 7:35 a.m. with the Ryan White Walk, now into its second decade, at the track, baseball diamond, and practice field.

A student pep session, featuring a staff-senior tug of war, is scheduled for 1:15 to 2:00 p.m. at the football field.

Parade line up begins at 3 p.m. in the north/west high school parking lot.

The award-winning Hamilton Heights High School Band and Amber Guard will lead the parade with the school song and impressive flag routine through the streets of Arcadia beginning at 4 p.m.

Halftime Festivities include recognition of alumni from the classes of 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998 and 2008, followed by the presentation of the 2017 Homecoming Court and the crowning of this year's Homecoming King and Queen.
