In Hamilton County, the winter storm warning is in effect until 7 p.m. today, with slick and snow-covered roads and hazardous travel conditions.

Rising temperatures may result in rain, ice or sleet, which would reduce snow totals in some parts of the state.

The forecast calls for a high temperature today of near 33 F, with south wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent with two to four inches of snow expected to fall today, mainly before 8 p.m. Temperatures tonight will be a low of 16 F.
