In their first co-ed meet of the year, the Hamilton Heights swim teams swept Anderson Tuesday at the Huskies' pool.

The Heights girls improved their record to 1-2 by winning 120-52, while the HH boys squeaked past the Indians 91-89 to win their opener. The Lady Huskies won 11 of the 12 events.

Madeleine Mitchell was a double winner in the individual medley and breaststroke, with Jordan Zink taking first in the 200 free and 500 freestyles. Other winners were Michala Hirl in diving, Mariah Oxley in the butterfly, Hannah Reecer in the 100 free and Jordan Arney in the backstroke. Heights also swept all three relays.

Jordan Clevenger won two events in the boys meet, taking the butterfly and backstroke. Clevenger's backstroke time of 55.25 seconds is not far away from the state cut time of 53.35. Also winning were Marc Mitchell in the 50 free, Matt Western in the 500 free, Mitch Western in the breaststroke, the medley relay and the 400 free relay.

Both teams travel to Elwood next Tuesday for a three-team meet with the Panthers and Eastern.
