HSE's Irvin, Reimer make it official

Senior Zak Irvin has announced his intent to continue his basketball career at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Zak is the son of James and Marcia Irvin. He earned his second varsity letter in basketball last winter. Last season, Zak averaged 18.8 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, and over two assists per game. He was voted All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference (HCC) and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Underclassmen All-State. He was also selected to the 2012 Junior All-Star Core Team. Zak is also a member of the HSE Student Athletic Council.



Senior Taya Reimer has announced her intent to continue her basketball career at the University of Notre Dame. Taya is the daughter of Brenda Reimer and Ben Davis. She earned her third varsity letter in basketball last winter. As a junior, Taya averaged 19.4 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. She was All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference (HCC), Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Underclassmen All-State, and was chosen to be a member of the 2012 Junior All-Star Core Team. This summer, Taya competed for the United States U17 Team in Italy and the Netherlands at the U17 World Championships. She was a team captain and led the United States team to a Gold Medal.
