The Times

WEST LAFAYETTE - Ross Rankine and Hunter Day, both of Noblesville, will be driving for Delta Upsilon Fraternity in kart #23 and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity in kart #22, in the 60th Anniversary Grand Prix Race, April 22, at Purdue University.

Tickets will be available for purchase on the Purdue Grand Prix Foundation's website (http://www.purduegrandprix.org) beginning on Saturday. They will cost $5 if purchased in advance and $10 at the door.

The race will be broadcast live on Slipstream Network (http://www.slipstreamnetwork.com) and the Big Ten Network (http://www.btn2go.com/game/purdue-grand-prix-04232016).

The Grand Prix Foundation is a student organization at Purdue University that exists to organize the annual Purdue Grand Prix kart race. Driven by our motto of "Students Helping Students," the primary purpose of this annual event is to raise funds for over $10,000 in annual student scholarships.

The Grand Prix annually draws more than 50 student entries, competing for a spot in the 160-lap main feature. With each kart team consisting of a seven-member crew, more than 350 participants are involved in the Grand Prix race.
