The Indiana Bulls baseball organization recently released a list of their 2018 season coaches. Nine of the leaders currently reside in Hamilton County, and three have coaching ties to local high schools. Ryan Bunnell is the head coach of the Westfield Shamrocks, Kevin Fitzgerald is an assistant at Noblesville High School, and Craig Dragash coached within the Carmel Clay organization.
16U GREY COACH- RYAN BUNNELL
In addition to coaching with the Bulls, Ryan is the head baseball coach at Westfield High School. He is entering his 14th season at the helm of the Shamrocks baseball team and second year with the Indiana Bulls. At Westfield, Coach Bunnell has led the Shamrocks to three Sectional Championships, two Conference Championships, a Sweet Sixteen finish in 2008, an Elite Eight finish in 2011 and a State Runner Up finish in 2009. Coach Bunnell has been named the Indy Star North Coach of the Year twice, Indy Star Super Team Co-Coach of the Year, HCC Coach of the year twice and District K Coach of the Year. Ryan has 3 children, Kaylie, AJ and Beau.
15U WHITE COACH- KEVIN FITZGERALD
Coach Fitzgerald returns to the Indiana Bulls where he served as a coach and board member from 2002-2007. His 2003 14U team went 42-4 and was NABF National Runner-Up in Joplin, Mo. The next year his 15U team finished 3rd nationally in the USSSA Open Division World Series in Orlando. In 2006, Coach Fitzgerald led Team Indiana to the 15U CABA Ultimate World Series Title in Crystal Lake, Ill. In addition to coaching for the Bulls, Coach Fitzgerald will be in his 11th season as an assistant coach at Noblesville high school where he coaches hitters, outfielders, and 3rd Base. At Noblesville, those teams have won 2 HCC conference Titles, 3 Sectionals, 2 Regionals, and the 2014 4A State Championship. Prior to NHS he was the Head Coach at Sheridan HS (05-06) being promoted from Assistant Coach where the Blackhawks made the Elite Eight winning a Regional title in 2004.
9U WHITE COACH- CRAIG DRAGASH
Craig Dragash grew up in Crown Point, Indiana, where he attended Boone Grove High School and lettered three years playing first base and pitcher for the Wolves. He then went to Purdue University to pursue his degree in education, and now has taught middle school wellness for 21 years in the Carmel Clay School system. Craig coached at Carmel High School from 1997-2006, and was on the staff for the two teams that reached the state finals at Victory Field in 1997 and 2000. He then coached at Clay Middle School from 2009-2015, and has most recently been a coach with the Carmel Pups organization. He and his wife Denise have one son, Vaughn, who will be in third grade. He and his family live in Carmel. Craig also has a Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from Ball State University, and he is the PA announcer for Carmel Greyhound football.

The Bulls operate 24 teams, ranging from 8U to 18U. There are currently 10 Bulls Alumni playing in the MLB, with many more on minor league and AAA rosters. The league also has 34 players committed to college teams for next season, eight of which played at Hamilton County high schools. Andy Bennett of Fishers will play at Butler, Aaron Ernst of Carmel will play at Dayton, Max Habegger of Carmel will play at Lipscomb, Cameron Pferrer of Carmel will play at Missouri, Shawn Roop of Carmel will play at Manhattan, Tommy Sommer of Carmel will play at Indiana, Noah Wallace of Hamilton Heights will play at Cornerstone, and Owen Callaghan of Hamilton Southeastern will play at IU-Kokomo.
