Fishers Varsity totaled 39 kills, 12 aces, 51 digs and four blocks in its 3-0 sweep of Lawrence North Tuesday. The win is the 10th of the Tigers' season.
Fishers' offense hit 0.300. Senior outside Mallory Hernandez had 15 kills, and junior outside Audrey Haworth had 11. Both upperclassmen scored on a wide variety of shots to keep the Wildcats guessing.
Hernandez was first in blocks with two, both of which were solo blocks in transition, a sign of extreme focus.
Junior setter Rose Duffy put up 32 assists and created kills for seven different attackers. She tied with junior libero Emma Rosenberg for the most digs with 13.
Freshman opposite Camryn Haworth led FHS in aces with four. Hernandez, A. Haworth and senior defensive specialist Robin Brown each chimed in with two.
Fishers' next match is at cross-town rival Hamilton Southeastern Thursday evening.
