FISHERS ROUND UP

BOYS SOCCER

The Tigers won Thursday night against New Palestine 4-0. The Tigers were also celebrating Senior Night. The Tigers scored two goals in the first half from junior captain Elliott Mozingo and freshman Yuto Nakame. The Tigers added two more goals in the second half from seniors Zi Mosier and Kai Zimmermann.

The Tigers next play next Thursday away at Guerin Catholic.

VOLLEYBALL

Fishers fell to No. 4 Avon in straight sets: 13-25, 18-25, 26-28.

The Tigers were plagued by inconsistent defense that couldn't do much to slow down the Orioles in the first two sets. The third set was very close the whole way, but FHS couldn't close to force a fourth.

Freshman opposite Camryn Haworth led us with six kills. Junior outside Audrey Haworth and sophomore outside Bryn Roberts each had five kills.

Junior libero Emma Rosenberg led the back row with 11 digs, while senior middle Elizabeth Weeks and junior setter Rose Duffy led the front row with 2.0 blocks each.

Duffy also had 24 assists and five digs.

Fishers plays at the Martinsville Invite Saturday, starting with matches versus Bloomington North and Bishop Chatard.
