The host team came in fifth place with a team score of 116. With five of the teams being ranked in the top 15 in the state, it was projected to be a tight race.

The Carmel Greyhounds took first place in both the boys and girls races finishing well in front of all other competitors with a score of 33. The next closest team was Fishers, finishing 19 points behind Carmel with a score of 52 points.

The third place spot was filled by the Hamilton Southeastern Royals finishing the race with 95 points, followed by Westfield in fourth with a score of 116.

The Shamrocks boys were led by All-Sectional Runners Nick Leahy (9th) and Sam Novak (20th). Max Gutwein, Noah Douthit, and Tyler Smith rounded out the scoring for the Shamrocks.

Noblesville took fifth place, and the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles took sixth with 139 points, just two behind the Millers score of 137.

The University Trailblazers rounded out both the Hamilton County and overall scoring, finishing last with a team score of 268 behind seventh place Lebanon and eighth place Tipton.

Carmel also took home first in the girls race, finishing with 41 points. Again, Fishers took home second, scoring 71 points.

Lady Tiger Debbie Shera ran a strong race yet again, staying with the front pack throughout the race and finishing 7th overall. Miya Wai came on strong in the second half of the race and crossed the line just behind her in 8th place for the Tigers.

Also moving up nicely and placing in the top 20 was Tessa Kraft, coming in 11th place. Corinne Yorkman had a strong finish kick and was 21st with her teammate and senior Kamya Lapsley in 24th. Also racing for the Tigers were Brynn Urban in 28th and Emma Gillespie in 41st.
