Ellen D. Frazier
Oct. 4, 1922 - March 6, 2017

Ellen D. Frazier, age 94 of Noblesville, and former longtime resident of Elwood, passed away peacefully Monday, March 06, 2017, at Riverview Health, Noblesville, after a long, well-lived life.

She was born on Oct. 4, 1922, in Leesburg, the daughter of Herman V. and Mable (Beyer) Bruning.

She was a 1940 graduate of Elwood High School, and later married the love of her life, John H. "Jack" Frazier on Dec. 30, 1947. They shared more than 54 years of marriage together. She grew up in the Methodist Church in Elwood, and later attended East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood for several years. She was a devoted homemaker all of her life, and enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge and euchre. She was also a former member of Tri-Kappa Sorority and the Order of Eastern Star. More than anything, she will be remembered for her devotion to all of her family.

Survivors include her son, Charles H. (Andrea) Frazier of Cicero; 2 daughters, Louise A. (Dr. Tom) Moretto, and Lynn M. Hare of New Palestine; 6 grandchildren, Brian (Tina) Frazier, Amy Mack, Colby (Dr. Lanie) Huffman, Catherine Adams, Dawn (Lee) Johnson, and Tina (Wes) Sumner; and 45 additional grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John H. "Jack" Frazier in 2002; brother, Cressel Bruning; and son-in-law, Doug Hare.

Mrs. Frazier's family would like to thank the staff of Riverview Hospital, Dr. Pence, Dr. Wunder, and the staff at The Lodge in Noblesville for all their care and help in making her final journey easier and full of faith and grace. Their help will never be forgotten.

A cemetery memorial service celebrating her life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at the Elwood City Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. Phil Heller of White River Christian Church in Noblesville officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Callaway Park or the Wounded Warrior Project through the funeral home. Cremation and service arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood. Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
