Carla Diane Hopper
Jan. 19, 1954 - May 16, 2017

Carla Diane Hopper, age 63, of Arcadia, passed away May 16, 2017, at Riverview Health at Noblesville.

She was born Jan. 19, 1954, at New Castle, to Thomas Wendell and Wanita Irene (Ellis) Lee.

She was a graduate of Southport High School with the Class of 1972. She had worked in food service and also with retail sales of clothing.

She married Dennis Ray Hopper, whom she dearly loved and cherished, on Dec. 4, 1980. She most enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends, and her family described her as being a wonderful mom, grandma and great-grandma to them. She loved to travel and collect various types of jewelry.

Survivors include her husband, children, Dennis Hopper, Jr. and fiance` Michelle Swope, Amanda (Robby) Mathews, Kristy (Pete) Emkow, Michael (Sara) Hopper, Craig (Julie) McKay, Sara (Jason) Dahl, and T.J. (Michaelle) Hopper; grandchildren, Brooke, Logan, Alli, Evan, Autumn, Brad, Nick, Gage, Maci, Graeson, Braden, Kaitlyn, Jason, Hunter, Charlee Joy, Ashlee Ann, Kiera, Kennedy, Kaylee, Connor, Ashley, Maddison, Destiny Ray; three great grandchildren, Cameron, Liam, and Bryson; and two sisters, Tommi Hunt of Spiceland, and Dorothy (Sam) Miller of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Thomas Wendell Lee, Jr.

Services are scheduled for noon Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Pastor Larry Stoops officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.
