Clifford Dean Snyder
Feb. 5, 1932 - Nov. 9, 2017

Clifford Dean Snyder, age 85, of Noblesville, died Nov. 9, 2017 at his home.

He was born Feb. 5, 1932 at Burnettsville, to Earl Leon and Ima (Shuey) Snyder.

Educated at Burnettsville High school, Cliff was high scorer for three years on the varsity basketball team. He then honorably served his country in the U.S. Air force in the Korean War. Using the GI Bill he attained his undergraduate education at Indiana State University. Continuing his education he earned his master's degree from Indiana University and Administration plus degree at Ball State University. He taught business and coached at Burnettsville High School, Greencastle High School, Peru High School and Indianapolis Public Schools. He had also served as a high school principal.

He was a member of First Christian Church at Noblesville and served with their nursing home ministry. In retirement he worked part-time for Penske Honda dealership. He also enjoyed volunteering at Riverview Hospital.

He and his wife of 33 years, Marcella Ann (Beal) Snyder loved to travel, enjoyed interacting with their family, and their home in Noblesville.

Survivors include wife; 3 children, Karen, David and John Snyder; 3 step-children, Robin, Beth Ann and David Griffin; 7 grandchldren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rex Snyder.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma and Maxine, and a stillborn son, Anthony Wayne Snyder.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at First Christian Church of Noblesville with burial to follow at Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson St., Cicero.
