ISO welcomes “Woman of a Thousand Voices” Christina Bianco Jan. 21-22

Actress, singer, and “Woman of a Thousand Voices” Christina Bianco brings her talents and impressions to the Hilbert Circle Theatre for three performances January 21-22. A star of TV and stage, including a multi-month Paris production of Funny Girl, Bianco’s singular voice and comedic charm have brought audiences around the world to their feet. Led by Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is delighted to collaborate with Bianco for “Who’s Your Diva?” showcasing her astounding vocal talents and witty rapport. Beat the winter blues with three opportunities to watch this amazing show: 11 a.m. Friday, January 21 for the Coffee Pops Series, and Printing Partners Pops Series performances on Friday, January 21 and Saturday, Jan. 22 at 8 p.m.

Born and raised in New York, Bianco captured international acclaim as a YouTube sensation with her impression videos, gaining over 25 million views. She’s since performed on major television programs including The Ellen Degeneres Show in the U.S. and The Paul O’Grady Show in the UK. A two-time Drama Desk Award nominee, Bianco made her West End debut in Forbidden Broadway at the Vaudeville Theatre. Most recently, she played the iconic role of Fanny Brice at the Theatre Marigny’s celebrated production of Funny Girl in Paris, earning unanimous rave reviews and received the Trophees De Le Comedie Musicale Award for her performance. Bianco has appeared on iTV’s The Imitation Game, POPtv’s Impress Me, Hallmark’s Signed Sealed, Delivered, and provides frequent voice work for RuPaul’s Drag Race.

As a touring artist, Bianco has written and performed her critically acclaimed solo shows across the U.S. and abroad, including two UK tours and extended runs in London, Scotland, South Africa, and Australia. Bianco also frequently performs with U.S. and Canadian symphonies. When she’s not touring, she enjoys creating wacky social media content, cake decorating, Benedict Cumberbatch films, and is deeply in love with her dog, Jeff Vader.

Performances begin at 11 a.m. Friday, January 21 for the Coffee Pops Series, followed by Printing Partners Pops Series performances on Friday, January 21 and Saturday, January 22 at 8 p.m. Per the ISO health and safety guidelines, proof of vaccination and face masks are mandatory.
