What 8 Men Want for Valentine’s Day

Monday is Valentine’s Day.

Is it a holiday just for women? I beg to differ.

That’s why I went on a mission in downtown Noblesville to find men to tell us how they really want to spend Valentine’s Day.

Here’s what these eight men said:

Alexander Glaser

Name: Alexander Glaser

Age: 21.

City: Fishers.

Occupation: Insurance expert at Andrew Cornelius Allstate Insurance.

Where found: Working at his job on the north side of the Square.

Wants for Valentine’s Day: “To see my girlfriend (of two years) who’s off in law school in St. Louis. I’m going to have that happen; So I’m excited about it. She’s coming up. We’re going to have a nice meal. I’m going to get her some flowers and just show her that I really appreciate her and care about her and spend time with her, because she and I are both working hard toward a goal in life to be happy.”

Shwa Hall

Name: Shwa Hall

Age: 24.

City: Fishers.

Occupation: Cafe manager at Noble Coffee & Tea.

Where found: Working at his job on the east side of the Square.

Wants for Valentine’s Day: “I would love a book or a movie for Valentine’s Day. I really like any books that are philosophical in nature or I also like science fiction and fantasy. Moviewise, I like anything, dramas, comedies, it doesn’t matter to me. I love going to the movies.”

Brian Harvey

Wants for Valentine’s Day: “A shoulder rub … I have a date planned for my wife (Mandy) and I. We’re going to do a restaurant she’s been wanting to go to. I wanted to take her to a pottery place, but they were all booked. So I’m taking her ax throwing; we’ll see if it’s fun. She’s pretty competitive. If I start to beat her, the night might not go well. That’s my biggest concern at the moment.”

I’m probably going to make some kind of nice dinner for them for Monday night. Me and my wife are going to do dinner at Tucci’s. the new Italian place in Carmel, on Saturday night, just the two of us. My joking response is I’d like to have the Colts in the Super Bowl.”
