Give Back at the Kids Coats Ribfest Fundraiser This Sunday in Carmel

Join Hamilton County Kids Coats this Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., in raising essential funding for Hamilton County Kids Coats, a 501(c)(3) organization that distributes coats and winter wear to families in need. They are collecting gently used and new collecting winter coats of all sizes, from infant to adult 5XL. The event will take place at Bier Brewery North, located at 13720 N. Meridian St., Carmel.

Here’s a full list of events offered:

  1. Bike ride at 7:30am
    1. There is a long and a short ride. This portion is being led by Team Heroes.
  2. 5K run/walk sponsored by Carmel Runners Club at 8 a.m.
    1. Hamilton County Kids Coats is excited to be working with Patrick’s Kitchen to provide breakfast for the riders and runners this year.
  3. Live music by The Cosmic Situation & Big in Belgium from 3-10 p.m.
  4. Free ribs and pulled pork from 3 p.m. until supplies run out
    1. Monetary Donations encouraged
  5. Silent Auction from 4-8 p.m. – Bid for over $3500 in items for all budgets!
    1. Colts tickets, jewelry, gift cards at local restaurants & retail stores. Bring your checkbook or pay online.

Hamilton County Kids Coats is different from other coat giveaways in that they take your donated coats to the people in the towns where they live. Hamilton County Kids Coats accept new and gently-used winter coats and winter wear in all sizes, from infant to adult 5XL. Don’t have a coat?
