Families attending Noblesville Main Street’s “First Friday” event have the opportunity to help local children in need.

For the second year in a row, downtown merchants will offer the chance to “Stuff-Your-Stocking” in support of the Noblesville Youth Assistance Program.

Stockings can be purchased in advance for $15. Starting at 5 p.m. Friday, participating merchants around the square will have fun treats, toys and ornaments on hand for children to “stuff” into their stockings and take home. Families also are encouraged to buy an extra stocking to “stuff” and donate for a child in need.

Proceeds from the one-night event go to support Noblesville Youth Assistance, which provides access to programs and services that promote positive growth experiences and enhance home and community relationships for local at-risk kids ages 3-17.

The holiday festivities in downtown Noblesville Friday include Santa Claus, hot chocolate, Christmas carols and more are just some of the many activities awaiting visitors, in addition to ice skating at Federal Hill Commons.

Families also can give back to the community and help local children in need.

For “Stuff-Your-Stocking” tickets must be purchased in advance here:

After registering, the pre-paid stockings and maps of participating businesses can be picked up at the law offices of Church Church Hittle + Antrim located at 2 North Ninth Street in Noblesville.

Anyone who wants to donate a stocking for a family can then bring the stocking back to CCH+A for NYAP to distribute.
