A Noblesville woman and a Thomasville, Ga., man have been arrested for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab in a room at the Courtyard By Marriott Hotel, 17863 Foundation Drive, Noblesville.

Katrina Saunders, 51, Noblesville, and Richard K. Pridgeon, 39, Thomasville Ga., were arrested when Noblesville Police and Fire Department personnel responded to reports of smoke coming from a room at the hotel just after 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers and firefighters arrived on the scene a short time later and determined that the source of the smoke was coming from a single room on the 4th floor of the hotel.

Firefighters and police officers made entry into the room and located what is believed to be a functioning meth lab.

Saunders and Pridgeon are being held in the Hamilton County Jail on multiple felony charges.

There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident. Portions of the hotel were evacuated for a short period of time until the scene could be rendered safe.

The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section was contacted and summons to the scene to assist with the investigation. The Hamilton County Health Department also assisted with the investigation.
