The Hamilton Heights Lady Huskies won their seventh straight game with a 48-46 double overtime victory at Yorktown Thursday.

Bayleigh Runner finished with 23 points to lead the Huskies, who fell behind 11-16 after the first quarter.

The Tigers maintained the advantage throughout the second and took a 22-16 lead into halftime.

In the third, the Huskies turned up the pace offensively and by the end of the quarter the score was knotted at 32. Both teams played to a standstill in the fourth and the game went into its first overtime locked at 43. Neither team scored in the first extra period, but the Huskies were able to get just enough in the second overtime to take the win.

Lauryn Wiley finished second on Heights in scoring with 10. Kayla Kirtley and Lexi Branham both scored seven.

Heights improves to 14-6 on the season.
