    5/26/2020 Electronics Mate 3rd Class Jacob Tharp, from Noblesville, plugs a power cord into an F/A-18E Super Hornet. The aircraft and Tharp are assigned to the “Knighthawks” of Strike Fighter Squadron 136, on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).

  • Carmel added to address line for 46280 Zip Code
    5/22/2020 Mayor Jim Brainard was notified recently that the U.S. Postal Service headquarters in Washington, D.C. approved the city’s request for residents and businesses within zip code 46280 to be able to use Carmel in their address line. In the past, this area had been using Indianapolis in its address. After the Home Place area officially became part of the City of Carmel, it was more important for these residents and businesses to be associated with the city in which they live and work.

  • Heights recognizes Class of 2020 Honors Award recipients
    5/22/2020 It is great pride and admiration that Hamilton Heights School Corporation recognizes Class of 2020 seniors who were the recipients of various awards and scholarships. The Honors Night Awards ceremony, held annually in May, is one in which our students, their families and our staff look forward.
    “This has been no ordinary year but our students are anything but ordinary,” said Principal Jarrod Mason, Principal, Hamilton Heights High School. “While our preference would have been able to personally hand out these awards, due to the circumstances, it too, had to be cancelled.
