Shovels turning dirt later today at old Marsh site
Tuesday, April 6, 2021 4:00 AM
The west side of Noblesville is about to get a facelift.
Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen will be joined today by city and county officials, as well as private industry partners, to break ground on the Cityscape Residential development, NEXUS.
This new $50+ million project will transform the former Marsh Supermarket property on the west side of Noblesville into 287 luxury apartments. Surrounded by parks and trails and less than half a mile from Federal Hill Commons, the development is within one mile of the city’s historic downtown square.
Jensen and James Thomas, founder and managing partner of Cityscape Residential, will take center stage at 3 p.m. with shovels in hand to get the project going. Once that is over, NEXUS will reimagine the highly visible site – vacant since 2017 – as part of Noblesville’s redevelopment vision, providing vibrant, livable spaces in the downtown area.
Indianapolis-based Cityscape Residential will build the luxury development, which will feature high-end amenities including extensive co-working space for residents in multiple configurations, conference rooms for resident use, a swimming pool, exercise room, fitness-on demand workouts, bike storage and repair, fitness classes, pet spas and outdoor grills.
Cityscape Residential is a full service real estate development and construction firm known for building luxury multifamily rental communities throughout the Midwest.
In October 2020, the Noblesville City Council gave unanimous approval to a zoning change to build the $50M+ community.
Exciting project.
