Tigers split meet with Zionsville

In the first meet of the 2019-2020 season, the Girls Swimming and Diving team put up a good fight as they defeated Zionsville by a score of 135-51. Individual event winners for the boys included Hannah Pratt (12) in the 200 Free, Ellen Fero (12) in the 50 Free, JoJo Ramey (9) in the 100 Free and 100 Back, Abby Jahns (12) in the 500 Free, and Kate Mouser (9) in the 100 Breast. The 200 Free Relay of Ellen Fero (12), Kalli Agapios (10), Alexandra Stein (10), and Hannah Pratt (12) took the top spot, as did the 400 Free Relay of JoJo Ramey (9), Ellen Fero (12), Abby Jahns (12), and Hannah Pratt (12). On the diving boards, Morgan Casey (10) took the top spot for the 1-meter diving boards.

The 1-0 Tigers are back in action on Saturday, November 30, at Brownsburg High School as they take on Brownsburg and Westfield in this double-dual meet. The meet gets underway at 9:00am

Over on the boy’s side the team fell to the Eagles 118-68. 

Individual event winners for the boys included Aaron Frollo (12) in the 200 Free and Kyle Ponsler (10) in the 500 Free. On the diving boards, Sebastian Otero (10) took the top spot for the 1-meter diving boards.

Lady Huskies victorious vs Lebanon

The Hamilton Heights girls swim team won their season opener 96-87 against Lebanon. The girls placed first place in 7 of the 12 events.  Junior Tara Holder was a 2 time individual winner in the 200 freestyle and the 500 free. 

Fellow teammate Cylie Starr was also a double winner in the 200 Individual medley and the 100 breaststroke.  They were both members of the winning 400 freestyle relay which was also swam by Ryleigh Poe and Carlie Flintoff. Sophomore Mady Hutcherson won  the 100 freestyle and Alexa Williams won the diving event.
