Henrietta M. "Penny" Busby, 90, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Columbus, Ohio.
She was graduated from Columbus South High School. She retired from the former Saint John's Medical Center in Anderson and had also worked at the Anderson Police Department. She was a member of the Prairie Farmerettes and enjoyed working in ceramics.
Survivors include two children, Elaine Aldred, and Greg (wife, Judy) Busby both of Anderson; two step-sons, Bret (wife, Renee) Busby, and Randy Busby both of Anderson; a son-in-law, James Pherson of Chandler; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Miller; her first husband, Harold Busby; her second husband, Neil Busby; a daughter, Eileen Pherson; and a granddaughter.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main St., Lapel, Indiana, with Rick Sisson officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, and one hour prior to the funeral Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at the funeral home.
