James Allen "Jim" Raines, 52, Anderson, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at his home.
He was born Feb, 3, 1965, in Anderson to James and Cecilia "Ceal" (Heagy) Raines.
He was graduated from Elwood High School in 1983. He had worked as a mechanic at Phillips Corporation and Weeks Auto and currently owned and operated the Mardi Gras Pizza in Lapel. He enjoyed fishing; golfing; and was an avid pool player.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Lisa (Perry); one daughter, Amanda (Brian Lubert) of Fishers; four sisters, Peggy Buckner, Kim (Duane) Alsip, Candy Raines, Beth (Reid) Myers; one brother, Joseph (Monica) Raines; and his adopted Mardi Gras family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Roy Buckner.
A funeral service is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main St., Lapel.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
