Local artist, Melinda Spear-Huff, presented the Sheridan Public Library Board and Director a beautiful painting of the Sheridan Carnegie Library. This historic building is located at 214 South Main Street in Sheridan, Indiana and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Carnegie library was open for 93 years before it was replaced by the new library that is located at 103rd West First Street. The painting in currently on display at the Sheridan Public Library.
