Noblesville East Middle School’s show choir, Vocal Revolution, earned Grand Champion in the middle-school divison on Saturday during the Edgewood High School Contest of Champions, an annual invitational show-choir contest and fundraiser at the school in Ellettsville, Ind. The show choir also earned Best Vocals, Best Visuals, Best Band of the Day, Best Female Soloist Sierra Whitson, Best Male Soloist Maddux Morrison and Outstanding Performer (of Vocal Revolution) Sierra Whitson. The NEMS show choir, led by choir teacher Jordan Rattenbury, performed its 15-minute song and dance routine during a free show on Friday for parents and friends at NEMS. Holding up the huge Grand Champion trophy are show choir members Toby Cox (front left, clockwise), Max Shepard, Logan Roberts, Johnathan Baker and Sean Sabel.  Vocal Revolution has won Grand Champion at Edgewood the past four consecutive years and has won a total of seven grand championships at various competitions since the group began competing in 2011.
