The Noblesville Lions Club met last week. It was the first gathering and meeting since the COVID lockdowns. They met at Teter Retreat in Noblesville, along with their wives. Masks and social distancing was used. The Lions also welcomed District Governor, Dan Wilcox and his wife Tammy as guests.
The next two July meetings will be held at Forest Park under the #2 Shelter. Hopefully, the weather will accommodate!
During this down time, the club has had to cancel a couple of fund-raisers. One was the Pork Chop Dinner event, and its Breakfast event normally the following morning on the downtown square. The club had to also cancel the Father’s Day event at Forest Park.
At the meeting, Installation of Officers for the 1920-21 year was held. The new President installed is the first Lady Lion for the Noblesville Club; and she is Julia Kozicki. The club is excited to have Julia as President, as she is very active in Lion activities.
