Rebecca "Becky" (Solomon) Aberle, age 68, passed at her home in Noblesville Dec. 16, 2017, following a 2-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born to Wayne “Fritz” and Jean Solomon on April 1, 1949 in Shelbyville, and grew up in Blue Ridge.
She was a graduate of Waldron High School and Ball State University where she majored in English. She taught English and Speech. She married Mark Aberle on June 1, 1974. Mrs. Aberle volunteered at Noblesville Schools and was an active member of Faith Community Church in Noblesville. She went on a variety of mission trips and enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed painting ceramics, baking brownies, and gardening.
Survivors include her son, John Aberle; mother, Jean; siblings, David Solomon, Elizabeth Arthur, and Tom Solomon; sister-in-law, Carol Jelen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
She was predeceased by her husband, Mark, in 2011; and her father, Fritz, in 2009.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Faith Community Church in Noblesville. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes has been entrusted with Mrs. Aberle's care.
