Roger Kent McClintock, 70, passed away Monday, Dec. 11, in Bolivar, Mo.

He was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Anderson to Wayne Elsworth and Katherine Martha Lowman McClintock.

He had lived most of his life in the Lapel area and had recently moved to Pleasant Hope, Mo., to live with his daughter.

He was graduated from Lapel High School in 1965. He helped with his family farm and had worked at the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson then was a semi driver owner/operator.  He also was employed by the former Fert-A-Chem and finally retired from McClintock and Sons Spotting Service which worked primarily for O-I Brockway in Lapel. He was a member of the Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323 and Ducks Unlimited.  He had was also a member of the Stony Creek Black Powder Club and had served as its president,

Survivors include four children, Bob (Jackie) McClintock, Tracy (Andy) Bracken, Yana (Todd) Mosley, and Chris “Hogg” McClintock (Christy Grayson); nine grandchildren, Alison Sprungle, Sarah Siefert, Ashley Harris, Elizabeth and Nichole Mosley, Brock and Drew Bracken, Heidi Jo and Levi McClintock; four great-grandchildren; sister, Diana Males; and brother, Jerry McClintock; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lucy (Shelton), and his second wife, Patti (Finch).

A memorial service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main St., Lapel with Rev. Clinton Moore  officiating.  Private family burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
