Gary Griffith, 76, of Noblesville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Riverview Health in Noblesville.

He was born on Aug. 7, 1940, to Wesley and Esther (Egli) Griffith in Trenton, Iowa.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and retired from working as a computer consultant, mostly in the health field. He graduated from University of Wisconsin, and received a master's degree from Northern Illinois University. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville, and a long-time member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. He enjoyed music, gardening, traveling, woodworking, and his family.

Survivors include his wife, Jeri Griffith; son, Michael Griffith of Cookeville, Tenn.; sister, Dana (Don) Maxfield of Decorah, Iowa; brother, Jonathan Griffith of Portland, Ore.; aunt and uncle, Lois & Burt Titus of Ventura, Calif.; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Margo) Klewin of Brisbane, Australia, and Kenneth (Sylvia) Klewin of Naperville, Ill.; nine nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and -nephews; and several great-great-nieces and -nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, LaVonne Hopkins.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for noon on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville, 1207 Conner St., with visitation one hour prior.
