Georgia Mae Wooden, 83, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville following an extended illness.

She was born on July 22, 1934, in Pennington Gap, Va., to George W. and Bonnie Mae (Johnson) Cleusman.

She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed playing bingo. She enjoyed babies and children and also enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include three children, Gary L. (wife, Judy) Maness of Cincinnati, Scott B. (wife, Gayl) Maness of Kennesaw, Ga., and Melissa (husband, Dave) Taylor of West Lafayette; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Cleusman and Larry Cleusman; and sisters, Betty Robinette, Brenda Cleusman, and Velma Livesay.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul F. Wooden; a son, James L. Maness; and one sister, Wanda Hinkle.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main St., Lapel, with Pastor David Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Carey Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main St., Lapel.
