Kenneth G. Osborn, 87, of Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at home.

He was born on July 30, 1930, in Indianapolis.

He retired from GM, where he had been an inspector. After retirement, he volunteered at the Riverview Heart Center in Noblesville. He enjoyed reading, metal detecting and bird-watching, and was a dog lover.

Survivors include his six children, Brenda Hankee, Deborah (Jeff) Snapp, Lisa Hicks, Kathie Hacker, Mike (Connie) Ballard and Andy (Charlotte) Ballard; 14 grandchildren, Daniel Hankee, Jason Hankee, Carter Ballard, Amber Hacker, Jason Hicks, Matthew Hicks, Landon and Liam Hankee, Joe, Danny, Tony and Benji Ballard, and Megan, Paige and Heather Ballard; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl James; mother, Gladys (Mills) James Osborn; his wife, Mary Osborn; and a grandson, Josh Knight.

Services are scheduled for noon Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with visitation scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Chaplain Derek Hansen will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
