The Hamilton Heights Lady Huskies won their second straight Hoosier Conference championship Saturday and broke some records along the way. 

The medley relay team of Rachel Sanqunetti, Emily Lester, Claire Sloderbeck and Tara Holder came right out of the gate with not only a first place finish, but also a conference and school record in the event. 

The Lady Huskies also picked up gold medals in the 200 free, swam by Sanqunetti, the 500 free, Holder, and the 400 free relay swam by Sloderbeck, Holder, Ryleigh Poe and Sanqunetti.

Other point scoring placers include Allison Osborne, ninth in the 200 free, Holder, fifth in the 200 I.M. and Sloderbeck, second in the 100 free and 50 free. Poe came in second in the 500 free. 

Sanqunetti finished second in the 100 backstroke. It was the first event in conference Sanqunetti has lost in her career. Lester, Uhrick and Cox placed fourth, seventh and ninth, respectively, in the 100 breaststroke. And the 400 free relay team of Sloderbeck, Holder, Poe and Sanqunetti earned gold. 

The boys, who only competed with six swimmers, tied for seventh place. Jared Holder won both the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. Logan Fakes finished ninth in the 100 free and seventh in the breaststroke. Joe Ringer placed 12th in the 200 and 500 freestyle.
