It’s back and better than ever! Readers’ Choice, the largest reader promotion in Hamilton County, is kicking off for 2018!
Who has the best cheeseburger in town? Who makes the best pizza? Who is the best mover? What's your favorite newspaper?
For the past several years, Noblesville and Hamilton County residents have voted by the thousands for their favorite people, products and places.
Starting today you can vote for all your favorites in the 2018 installment of The Times’ Readers' Choice Contest. Last year, the total votes cast ended up at more than 950,000!
"We’re shooting to top 1 million votes this year," Times General Manager Melissa Meme said. "Our vote total last year was just above 951,400. That was more than the previous year and this promotion just grows every year because we all want to share those favorite places to go in Noblesville and Hamilton County.”
Times readers have voted by the thousands for their favorite people, products and places. This year looks to be no exception.
"We started the Readers' Choice Awards as a way to have some fun and let people recognize their favorite things," Meme said. "It seems that we always hear about the bad things. Readers' Choice is a great opportunity to point out the many, many good things and good people all over Hamilton County."
The entire process is simple. Ballots are online at www.thetimes24-7.com. Everyone is encouraged to vote in all categories, but you can vote for as many or as few – or as often – as you want.
"It’s a fun event," she added. "Think of it like Chicago politics - vote early and vote often!"
On a more serious note, though, Meme added. "This is just another way The Times goes out of its way to recognize those special businesses and people who make up our community."
Votes will be collected and tabulated and the results will be published with the extremely popular Online Edition in March.
