Charlotte J. Dorsett, 89, of Fishers, formerly of Columbus, died at 6:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.  Charlotte was born Aug. 9, 1929 in Noblesville, the daughter of James N. and Edna Means Garrity.
She married Raymond L. Dorsett on June 25, 1948, and he has preceded her in death.  
She was a 1947 graduate of Van Buren High School, was previously employed at Arvin’s and retired from Cummins after 23 years of service. Charlotte was a member of Community Church of Columbus. 
Survivors include her son, Steven R. Dorsett and daughters, Rhonda D. (Craig) Roberts and Myra Y. (Doug) Daubenspeck, all of Noblesville; grandchildren, Casey Dorsett, Megan Dorsett, Claire Sullivan-Halpern, Carley Sanchez, Derik Daubenspeck, Nicole Roberts, Edge Roberts and Emma Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; brothers, Charles Garrity, Virgil Garrity, Wilbur Garrity, Kenneth Garrity, Thomas Garrity, Robert Garrity and Donald Garrity and a sister, Norma Smith. 
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at Community Church of Columbus, 3850 N. Marr Rd., in Columbus. Calling will be 1 p.m. until time of the service at the church. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Community Church of Columbus or the American Cancer Society in Indiana.
