Darrell Parks, 66, of Elwood, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at his home.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1954 to Rev. John E. and Gladys M. (Ely) Parks in Monongahela, Pa.
Mr. Parks had a love for church. He gave God the praise for all His Blessings. The Lord blessed him with good health, a family he truly loved and many good friends. He raised his children to have a love for church, love others and have respect and compassion. He loved spending time with his family. He had a special bond with his grandchildren, letting them ride and drive the tractors, being around horses and putting up hay. He taught his granddaughter how to throw a lasso. He was a hard worker and provider. We are truly blessed.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Darrell's best friend, Jim Cook.
He touched many lives throughout his life and many more throughout his sickness. May everyone remember to put God first and foremost in their lives.
