Lovina Louise Kunkle, 90, of Fortville, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 15, 1931 in Benton County, Ind. to Ethmer and Blanche (Traviolia) Kiger.
Mrs. Kunkle was a graduate of Covington High School in Covington, Indiana and was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith and attended Fishers United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Casey (Jim) Ottinger of Noblesville, Jonathon Kunkle of Cloverdale, Farol Kunkle of Fortville, Joseph (Tonya) Kunkle of Florida, Michael (Diana) Kunkle of Silex, Mo., LuAnn (Ruston) Gray of Kokomo and Stephanie Wood of Noblesville; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Kunkle; her parents; brothers, Duane Kiger and Paul Kiger; and sister, Linda L. McGhee.
A funeral to celebrate life will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
