Tony D. Burris, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. He was born on April 7, 1942 in Cicero.
For 30 years, Tony worked as a manufacturing engineer for Diversified Systems in Indianapolis. He proudly served in the Indiana National Guard and was a Hamilton County Reserve Sheriff. Tony enjoyed camping and fishing in his earlier years.
He is survived by his son, Brian (Lori) Burris; brother, Dennis (Barb) Burris; sister, Luana Bolsega; nieces, Brigette (Tony) Mauck and Kathaleen (Sean) Lynch; nephew, Casey (Libby) Bolsega; aunt, Joan Fakes; one great-niece; three great-nephews; and several cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Burris Jr.; mother, Olive Kathaleen (Hinkle) Palmer; step-father, William Palmer; and grandmothers, Chloe Johnson and Grace Palmer.
Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., in Noblesville with visitation one hour prior to the service. Casey Bolsega will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
