The family of Max E. (Gene) Hurlock would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Riverview Cardiology Department for the kindness and care given to Dad and us during his hospitalizations in May and June.

Thanks to the Fishers' Fire and Rescue who transported him to the hospital.  Many thanks to Randall/Roberts Fishers' Mortuary and Mrs. Zeller for their kindness.  Thank you to the Fishers' Police Motorcycle Escorts for their service. This was also appreciated by Mr. Roberts.

We would also like to thank the family, friends, neighbors and former neighbors who came to be with us.  Thanks to the Fishers' Masonic Lodge for their memorial. Thanks to all who contributed food, sent floral arrangements, cards and donations to charities.  May God bless the Crail family as they deal with their times of mourning for the man they took in as their "Dad".

Thanks to Ivan (Sunny) Sherman and Joe Reynolds for being Dad's visitors and friends for so many years and to Uncle Dub Clark for his love and friendship.  Thanks to May for watching over Dad since she moved into the neighborhood.  May she find comfort in her hours of sadness.

Then we must give a special thank you to Rev. Chris Hurlock who delivered the eulogy in such a special way that only one who knew Dad could do.  We hope we haven't missed anyone but if you feel we have overlooked you or someone else, it is only because our hearts are full of good memories, sadness and love for that gruff man with the softest of hearts and love that he didn't like to show.
