The Golden Eagles came out three-points the wiser, 52-49, in their Friday match up against Lafayette Central Catholic.

The game was tied 25-25 going into the fourth quarter with both defenses holding strong. Guerin had used two big middle quarters to overcome their 15-5 first quarter deficit.

Golden Eagle Zach Munson produced a season-high 21 points, going 9-for-12 in the paint. His previous high had been 15 points against Lafayette Jefferson. Friday, he gave Guerin the chance they needed to come out with the advantage.

Guerin, once again utilized their height advantage, outrebounding the Knights 27-16 with Cameron Dixon finishing with eight, Jack Hansen with seven and Munson with six. Dixon also tacked on 10 points, which is his second-highest for the season.

Guerin plays another away game Tuesday at Indianapolis Scecina before they play host to Lapel Thursday.
