Sectionals for high school boy's tennis are set to begin this week. Two Hamilton County schools, Carmel and Hamilton Southeastern, will play host.

Carmel will host sectional 7. The first game will be Westfield versus Guerin Catholic, and the second University versus Carmel. The sectional championship will be played between the winners of those games.

Hamilton Southeastern will host sectional 26 with game one between Noblesville and Hamilton Heights and game two between Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern. Again, the championship match will be played by the winners of matches one and two.

A total of 297 schools were drawn and placed into brackets for the team tournament which begins Wednesday (Sept. 27) and runs through Saturday (Sept. 30). Host sites will announce dates and times for each match. The 64 team sectional winners will advance to regional play Oct. 3 and 4 at 16 sites.

The regional champions will advance to semi‐state play Oct. 7 at Center Grove, Culver Academies, Homestead and Jasper. The eight‐team state finals are scheduled for Oct. 13 and 14 with state quarterfinal matches played at Carmel and Center Grove while semifinals and the state championship matches at North Central in Indianapolis.
