The Noblesville Lady Millers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-2 loss to Greenfield-Central on Thursday.

Greenfield-Central scored on a walk by Makayla Durick in the first inning, and a single by Michala Ballman in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Greenfield-Central pitchers struck out six, while Noblesville sat down six

Durick earned the win for Greenfield-Central. She pitched seven innings, surrendering two runs, seven hits, striking out six, and walking one.

Taylor Sjoholm took the loss for Noblesville.

Noblesville collected seven hits. Abby Brown and Brooke Herron each collected multiple hits for Lady Miller. Herron and Grace Smith each drove in one run to lead Noblesville. The Lady Millers didn't commit a single error in the field.

Julia Furiak had the most chances in the field with nine.
