ZIONSVILLE - Westfield thrower Jada Caldwell finished first in the shot put and second in the discus, and finished as the top point-getter for the Lady Shamrocks' track team in a dual meet at Zionsville.

Zionsville won the meet 77-54.

Caldwell's winning throw in the shot measured 38 feet 10 inches. Her throw in the discus was 97 feet 6.5 inches.

Erianna Ballard won the 100 meters with a time of 13.6, and placed 3rd in the 200 in 29.43.

Sydney Spears won the 200 with a time of 27.04.

Other noted performers included Emily Robertson who won the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.53, and Gabrielle Brown won the 400 with her time of 1:03.4.

New personal bests were set by Michaela Grimes, who shattered her former personal best in the shot put, throwing over a foot further from her previous record for a second place finish of 32 feet 1.5 inches.

The Rocks will have a busy week as distance runners will head to the Franklin Central Showcase on Friday, while the sprinters will make the trip to Lafayette Jefferson's Sprint Showcase.

Saturday Westfield will play host to the inaugural annual Westfield-Zionsville Invitational.
