The Guerin Boys Volleyball fell to Carmel 3-0 Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles came out of the game fired up and determined to make some noise against one of the top programs in the state. With an early deficit of 3-10, the Golden Eagles continued to rally making that seven point difference in the early parts of the match the only score difference at the end of the set. However, a much more focused Greyhound roster came out on the court.

"That program is well coached and have their eyes set on one thing and that is a championship", said Andrew Fuller, Guerin coach. "We did enough to rattle their cages in the first set to really wake up a much more determined team. Any points after that first set had to be earned."

Freshman outside contributed with six total kills on 13 swings for the Golden Eagles followed by senior opposite Jacob Banter who added three.

The Golden Eagles will have two practices to prepare for a red hot Cardinal Ritter program. Guerin Catholic will host Cardinal Ritter Monday. Junior Varsity is slated for a 6:00 pm serve with Varsity to follow.
