The Guerin Catholic football team made history Friday night. Tom Dilley's Golden Eagles beat Heritage Christian to start the season at 3-0 for the first time in school history. Guerin outscored Heritage 27-0.

The first quarter was scoreless for both teams. Golden Eagle senior wide running back Thomas Kaser scored the first two touchdowns for Guerin. He ran the ball past the goal line with just over a minute to go in the second period, and then again with 8:30 left in the third. The second score came off an 81 yard run.

Guerin was up 14-0 at the half, and 21-0 at the end of the third. Guerin would score one more time, and end the game with a perfect season record.

The Golden Eagles play Howe High School at home next week.
