The Hamilton Heights tennis team lost 4-1 at Alexandria Thursday night. The Huskies picked up a strong come-from-behind win from #1 singles player Hawkins Hochstedler. After dropping the opening set 6-4, Hochstedler came back to take the next two 7-5, 6-1.

"I was really impressed with Hawkins tonight. He's been working hard to improve his ability to pass an opponent moving forward and that really paid off tonight," said head coach Cameron Scott. "And although it didn't show not he scoreboard, Nick and Zane at 1 doubles continue to get better. They're starting to develop some weapons that are going to be big as we move forward."

The JV team got a 5-3 win on the night. Getting victories were Sam Dodson and Dax Webb in singles and Liam Huss/Jake Martin, Aiden Ray/Drew Pennington, and Ethan Hall/Michael Tolley in doubles.
