The Huskies boys soccer team beat the Eastern Comets 4-3 Tuesday night. The Huskies came out a little relaxed and found themselves in a quick 2-0 deficit in the first 10 minutes of the game. However the Huskies came out and got control and started pressuring the ball very well and controlling the game.

Josh Thorpe scored a free kick to gain one of the goals back. Then with hard play and determination Thorpe scoresd another goal to tie the game at half 2-2. The Huskies outshot the comets 12-3 in the first half.

In the second half Donovan Trew found Drew Tomaszewski to take the lead 3-2. After a foul and a quick restart by Jacob Luckey, he found Josh Thorpe for his third goal (hat trick) to go up 4-2. The comets didn't give up though, and converted a free kick to make the final score 4-3. Second half shooting was much closer 10-8 in favor of the Huskies.

"Co-players of the game go to Josh Thorpe for his hat trick and Drew Tomaszewski for his versatility on the field as he was moved around into several positions to help control the game," said coach Derrick Dean.
